Château Carbonneau Margot 2025

Chateau Carbonneau Margot 2025 is an emblematic cuvée from the estate, offering a modern and refreshing interpretation of Bordeaux whites. Made from Sauvignon Blanc, this wine highlights freshness, aromatics and precision, in a style inspired by great, lively and digestible whites.

This cuvée, created in 2007, is in line with a desire to produce an accessible, expressive white wine perfectly suited to moments of conviviality.

A lively, aromatic and mineral white wine

The nose is particularly expressive, with aromas of citrus, grapefruit, green apple and exotic fruit, accompanied by a lovely mineral dimension.

On the palate, the attack is frank and dynamic, carried by a natural acidity that brings tension and freshness. The wine develops a juicy, precise texture, with a long, refreshing, slightly saline finish.

This profile makes it a particularly thirst-quenching wine that's very easy to enjoy.

A pure and precise Sauvignon blanc

The Margot cuvée is made mainly from Sauvignon Blanc, a grape variety renowned for its ability to produce aromatic, lively and elegant wines.

The style sought here is that of a modern white, focused on fruit and freshness, with a direct and legible expression. The influence of the estate's international know-how is reflected in a highly precise approach to the grape variety.

Freshness-oriented winemaking

The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness to preserve their aromatic potential.

The winemaking process is based on direct pressing and low-temperature fermentation, enabling the wine to retain all its purity of aroma and natural liveliness.

Maturing on fine lees adds volume on the palate, while maintaining balance with acidity.

Margot 2025 is a wine for immediate pleasure, perfectly suited to summer drinking.

It goes ideally with:

  • appetizers
  • seafood

Its freshness and tension make it an ideal partner for seafood.

Ageing potential

This wine should be enjoyed in its youth to take full advantage of its aromatic brilliance.

It can be kept for 2 to 3 years, retaining its freshness and liveliness.
