Le Château du Hureau, located in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny appellation, brilliantly embodies the pure, heartfelt expression of Cabernet Franc. Managed by Philippe Vatan, this family estate covers 20 hectares and features meticulous vineyard management, respecting the principles of organic farming. Since taking over, Philippe Vatan has focused on revealing all the richness of this Loire terroir through precise, low-intervention vinifications, giving rise to wines of great finesse.

The cuvée Les Fevettes du Château du Hureau is made from the estate's oldest vines. This Saumur-Champigny is built for ageing: it develops notes of black and red fruits, undergrowth and mushrooms. Superb substance resting on velvety tannins.
