The Château du Hureau, located in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny appellation, brilliantly embodies the pure and sincere expression of Cabernet Franc. Managed by Philippe Vatan, this family-run estate covers 20 hectares and features meticulous vineyard management based on the principles of organic farming. Since taking over, Philippe Vatan has focused on revealing all the richness of this Loire terroir through precise, low-intervention vinifications, giving rise to wines of great finesse.

Chateau du Hureau's Cuvée Argile is a magnificent Chenin from Saumur. This organic Loire wine develops notes of green apple, but also citrus (lime), a touch of honey with a lovely minerality. The palate is both full-bodied and straightforward, a great success!
