The 1er cru vaillon du domaine Christian Moreau is made from vines over 50 years old. The vines are located in the commune of Chablis, on the left bank of the Serein with excellent south/southeast exposure. This cuvée is made up of the sub-climates épinottes, châtains and roncières. The soil consists of Kimmeridgian marl-limestone (Upper Jurassic), typical of the Chablis region. This soil is very rich in marine fossils, in particular Exogyra virgula, a small oyster typical of Chablisian soils.The Premier Cru is a coup de coeur: a racy, complex, fresh wine. A magnificent success!
