This Tan'nat cuvee from domaine Labranche-Laffont is a new cuvée from the estate. Sulfur-free and 100% tannat, this organic wine is digestible, gourmet and fruity, unlike many wines in the area. A real treat! The Labranche-Laffont estate is quietly on the rise, producing fine, elegant Madiran wines, the opposite of the preconceived ideas one might have of this appellation. A wonderful discovery to be followed very, very closely. Keen to continue gaining in quality, the domaine Labranche-Laffont has decided to convert to organic farming. Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2019 : Located in the Maumusson area, Christine Dupuy has run the family estate since 1993, certified organic since 2014. She farms 25 ha of vines, 4 of which are white (...) She presents tannat wines that are always distinctive, straightforward and pure, highlighting the beautiful terroirs of clay and pebbles. The cuvées are becoming increasingly refined, and the use of wood is measured. The constant quest for precision and balance is evident. "
