The Labranche-Laffont estate is quietly on the rise, producing fine, elegant Madiran wines, the opposite of the preconceived ideas one might have of this appellation. A wonderful discovery to be followed very, very closely. Keen to continue gaining in quality, Domaine Labranche-Laffont has decided to convert to organic farming.

She farms 25 ha of vines, 4 of which are white (...) Her tannat wines are always distinctive, straightforward and pure, highlighting the beautiful terroirs of clay and pebbles. The cuvées are becoming increasingly refined, and the use of wood is measured. The constant quest for precision and balance is evident. "
