This Cuvée Soleil d'octobre from Domaine de Mirail is a demi-sec from the Côtes de Gascogne. This organic wine is well-balanced, fruity and delicious, with an elegant, precise finish. It develops notes of grapefruit and candied lemon.30g residual sugarOn a very old winegrowing terroir (Guilhem de Mirailhs cultivated vines here as early as 1491), the region's traditional grape varieties (colombard, merlot, cabernet-sauvignon, gros manseng, petit manseng, syrah and folle blanche) rediscover their personality. Spread between the stony limestone plateau and the steeply sloping clay-limestone south-facing slope, the vines bring to maturity grapes of great concentration and low yield per hectare. Modern winemaking methods bring out the full power of the varietal aromas, guaranteeing the quality of the wines produced on the estate. Since 2013, the vineyard has been certified organic.
