The cuvée Au Cerisier du Château Combel La Serre truly thrilled us. This great Cahors made from malbec has a fruity nose. The palate is silky, with a rare elegance for this terroir. Notes of red fruit (cherry) and light spices. The Château Combel La Serre is a family estate located 15 kilometers from Cahors on the slopes of Cournou and Rassiels. In 1998 Jean-Pierre and Julien llbert decided to leave the Cahors cooperative cellar to become harvesting winemakers. The Château Combel La Serre vineyard boasts 26 hectares of vines in organic conversion since 2013.The Château Combel La Serre has a winery built in 2001 and a barrel cellar in 2002. The wines of Château Combel La Serre have lovely explosive fruit and a rare elegance in this vineyard. Excellent value for money to discover!
