A round, powerful organic wine offering excellent value for money.Le château la Croix des pins is located in Mazan, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in the heart of the Vaucluse department, in an area classified as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. The history of the estate dates back to the 16th century, when a prelate of the pontifical government, whose headquarters were in Carpentras, had the Tuscan-style bastide built in keeping with its origins. The religious character of the building is still very much in evidence with its interior chapel dating from this period, as well as its imposing pergola comprising 4 Crillon stone pillars, leading to a spring flowing beneath a century-old oak tree, conducive to prayer and meditation.Le Château la Croix des Pins was one of the very first estates to obtain the "BIO" label in 1998.
