With several generations of history behind it, the Domaine de la Bergerie covers some 36 hectares, spread over the finest appellations in the area: Anjou Villages, Coteaux du Layon, Savennières, Quarts de Chaume, Anjou blanc, Crémant de Loire, as well as a few Vin de France cuvées. This diversity reflects a constant desire to enhance Anjou's winegrowing heritage, while adapting the work to the specific characteristics of each terroir. The Domaine de la Bergerie has been certified organic since 2016.

CloseSous la Tonnelle du domaine de la Bergerie is a magnificent, lively, straightforward Anjou. This organic chenin is balanced between a liveliness (tart candy aromas) and a sweetness brought by aniseed notes. Superb as an aperitif, it's also at home with white fish and goat's cheese.

Made from chenin grapes, we feel the vintage effect with a roundness in the wine that testifies to the beautiful maturities of this 2019 year. The wine develops notes of yellow fruit, almonds and citrus. The whole is refreshed by saline notes on the finish.
