Domaine Pavelot - Aloxe Corton - 2023

This magnificent organic Saint-Emilion grand cru from Château Leydet-Valentin has a generous nose of small black berries, cherries and plums. The palate is supple and greedy, with fine, well-integrated tannins. The ageing is mastered, leaving the wine's fruitiness to the fore. A superb discovery, this Saint-Emilion-Grand-Cru!

The cuvée les Pends du Domaine des Entrefaux has superb substance. This organic wine produced on the Crozes-Hermitage terroir deserves a few years of cellaring to develop its full complexity. It develops notes of black fruit and pepper: a lovely, racy bottle that awaits a woodcock over a wood fire or, more simply, a fine piece of meat with pepper.

The Maranges La Rue des Pierres from domaine Elodie Roy has a pretty, fairly intense red color. The nose develops notes of cherry and crushed strawberry, with a hint of spice. The palate is fleshy, silky and has good length.

This Chambolle-Musigny from Domaine Bouvier is elegant and gourmet in this 2018 vintage. With its intense ruby color, this wine expresses black fruit aromas with light spicy notes. A sustained attack reveals a lovely freshness with round, ripe tannins.
