The Cazalet 2022 du domaine Saint-Antonin offers a beautiful dark ruby color, with a limpid disk and purplish highlights. Its nose is fruity, slightly compote-like, and spicy; it reveals a lovely freshness. The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced, with fruit, prune and licorice aromas and a long finish. Cuvée Cazalet is the estate's "Tradition" wine, representative of the schist terroir and made from a blend of old vines planted in the communes of Cabrerolles, Autignac and Laurens. The domaine Saint-Antonin is a 26-hectare family estate located in southern France in the commune of Cabrerolles, in the Faugères AOC. On this terroir, Fréderic Albaret produces AOC Faugères wines of great delicacy and excellent value for money. The tannins are silky, very well worked and the balance is always present. A highly recommendable organic estate! Cuvée Cazalet is supple, accessible in youth and intense. Cuvée Magnoux from the domaine Saint-Antonin is built for ageing, with great length and complexity.
