The Les Capréoles estate was born in 2014 on 3 hectares, extended by a further 2 hectares in 216. This superb Beaujolais domaine produces brilliant organic wines on the terroirs of Regnié, Brouilly and in Beaujolais village. We've been following this domaine since the beginning, and the consistency and brilliance of the wines convinced us this year. The prices are very attractive and the style gourmand and balanced. A domaine to discover urgently!

This Cairanne blanc du domaine Richaud is very expressive, fruity, long on the palate with notes that blend floral and pear. Serve as an aperitif; it will also accompany white meats or fish.

The Cazalet 2022 du domaine Saint-Antonin offers a beautiful dark ruby color, with a limpid disk and purplish highlights. Its nose is fruity, slightly compote-like, and spicy; it reveals a lovely freshness. The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced, with fruit, prune and licorice aromas and a long finish. Cuvée Cazalet is the estate's "Tradition" wine, representative of the schist terroir and made from a blend of old vines planted in the communes of Cabrerolles, Autignac and Laurens.

The cuvée Alio Pacto is the grand cuvée of the domaine les Capréoles. The grapes come from an old vineyard plot on a southwest-facing slope, situated on a vein of Lantignié microgranite. This plot was harvested for the first time in 2018 after several years ravaged by hail. On this plot, almost everything is done by hand. Only the best vintages will be bottled.
The wine is powerful with lots of rich fruit and very silky tannins. It will introduce you to another face of Beaujolais, produced in another way (alio pacto, in Latin), for another pleasure!

What a success this Diaclase du Domaine des Capréoles cuvée is! Produced from the oldest plots and aged in oak barrels, this cuvée offers great aromatic complexity carried by a firm, yet very silky structure. Full-bodied and long on the palate, with a lovely freshness. This is a great Régnié that can be enjoyed immediately on the fruit, but which will reveal many other facets over the course of its 15 years of ageing.
