Jean-Michel Deiss has chosen to highlight the terroirs of Alsace through planted vines. There are no single-varietal cuvées here, but rather blends of grape varieties from a very specific terroir. It's an original approach, but a convincing one when you taste the wines of Domaine Marcel Deiss. The estate is organically farmed. It's one of the region's great references. To be tasted at least once in your life. Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2019: 3 stars, highest score

The cuvée Champ Forey from domaine Jean Fournier is an aligoté made from old vines. With this parcel-based cuvée, Jean Fournier produces a wine from a low yield, a far cry from the light, acidic and insipid aligoté. This Aligoté is a fabulous blend of power and tension, a singular wine with strong character! A great gourmet wine that'll blow you away blind!Close

CloseA magnificent Riesling Vendanges tardives from the Marcel Deiss estate at full maturity: the sweetness of the wine is counterbalanced by the minerality of the riesling. The whole is sumptuous and very elegant. A great bottle to enjoy with pan-fried foie gras, for example.
CloseThis 1er cru Langenberg 2022 from Domaine Marcel Deiss is a superb success. Nose of lemon, grapefruit and white flowers (lily of the valley, elderberry), light mineral touches spice up the bouquet, the palate is airy and subtle, like an aromatic cloud, leaving on the finish a sensation of salinity so characteristic of St Hippolyte's granite terroirs. The wine is fuller and more complex than a simple Riesling St Hippolyte; the material is more subtle and bounces back with little acidic, tonic twitches.
