Jean-Michel Deiss has chosen to highlight the terroirs of Alsace through planted vines. There are no single-varietal cuvées here, but rather blends of grape varieties from a very specific terroir. It's an original approach, but a convincing one when you taste the wines of Domaine Marcel Deiss. The estate is organically farmed. It's one of the region's great references.
