Les Perruches du domaine de la Cotelleraie expresses itself beautifully on this lovely 2022 Loire vintage. An organic wine with a beautiful mache and a cellaring capacity of 5 to 7 years. The Domaine de la Cotelleraie extends over nearly two hectares of gravelly terraces and clay-limestone slopes. Planted with both Cabernets, the vineyard is worked with great care to obtain the finest grapes possible. Vinification is carried out to express the personality of the Saint-Nicolas terroirs. An estate that continues to progress.Guide des meilleurs vins de France 219 : "Gérald Vallée leaves nothing to chance in his vinifications in wooden vats and barrel ageing, giving birth to full-bodied, seductive Cabernet Francs, set with smooth tannins that make them accessible from youth, but with good ageing potential. In a civilized register, recent vintages have considerably gained in fruit brightness, bringing them closer to the fresh taste of their terroir."

CloseThe cuvée Essencial rouge du domaine des Schistes is from a terroir of schist marl slopes and clay-limestone plateau in the commune of Tautavel. The wine is quite expressive with notes of black fruit and zan. The palate is smooth, well-balanced and quite complex: spices (pepper) mingle with black fruits (blackberry). Good length. Good value for money.
CloseThe Croisée du domaine de la Cotelleraie is a full-bodied, gourmand, fleshy organic wine, with present but pleasant tannins. At last, a Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil with substance, body and fruit. Good cellaring capacity for this bottle, which we recommend drinking after 3 or 4 years of cellaring.

CloseVau Jaumier is one of the great cuvées of the domaine de la Cotelleraie. Its nose develops notes of very ripe red fruits, combined with small hints of menthol. The palate is particularly round and voluptuous (what a beautiful 2022 vintage!), both rich and powerful, it is nonetheless delicate and very elegant.
