Working in organic agriculture since 26, Domaine Giachino prides itself on presenting organic Savoie wines of the highest quality. The whites are airy, with diabolically precise aromas. The wines are low in sulfur (very slightly at bottling). Prices have remained very reasonable. Giac Bulle is a superb Vin Mousseux de Savoie made from Jacquère grapes. Monfanira is a light, taut Jacquère, a pure, airy organic Savoie wine. Altesse is an elegant, fruity Roussette de Savoie. Mondeuse from the domaine Giachino is a superbly peppery organic wine. Fresh and spicy, it deserves a few years of cellaring to mellow out and show its full potential.
