This Aligoté is a fabulous blend of power and tension, a singular wine with strong character! The Domaine Jean Fournier is located in Marsannay-la-Côte and produces great organic Burgundy wines. The domaine boasts vineyards in AOC Marsannay, Fixin and Côte de Nuits. Jean Fournier, whose estate covers sixteen hectares, works his vines with the greatest care, following the rules of organic farming since 24, certified since 28. The many old vines and long ageing periods give the wines great ageing potential. Each cuvée from the domaine Jean Fournier has plenty of personality. Prices have remained reasonable, so it's time to take advantage of them.

The Terres rouges cuvée is a new plot-based cuvée from the domaine Antoine Sanzay. This highly ambitious cuvée has a deep, intense black color. The nose is very open on opening, developing notes of black fruit. The palate is complex, with hints of fruit and spice, underpinned by supple, round, high-quality tannins. This red Marsannay from Domaine Jean Fournier is produced in the "Chapitre" sector. This cuvée saw the light of day in 2019 following the reclassification of the parcel as AOC Marsannay. Until 2018, this cuvée was known as "Bourgogne Le Chapitre Vieilles Vignes". A magnificent organic Burgundy wine full of ardor and elegance.
