The cuvée Brusquembille du domaine Pique-Basse is a superb Côtes du Rhône . Its nose develops notes of red fruit and garrigue. The palate is supple, greedy and fresh, with superb balance for a wine from this region.domaine de Pique-Basse is a superb domaine located in the Roaix appellation. Originally from Franche-Comté, Olivier Tropet trained as an oenologist. In 1998, he took over his grandfather's estate and vineyards in the Rhône valley, at the foot of the Ventabren massif and east of the Rasteau terroir, a vineyard facing east/south-east, opposite Mont Ventoux. Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2020, domaine 1 étoile: "We've been following Olivier Tropet for several vintages, and each time his wines seduce us with their rightness of tone, whether it's on the too little-known Roaix terroir, which he enhances wonderfully, or with his sumptuous Rasteau."
