The domaine Vincent Gaudry is located at the foot of the Sancerre hill in SURY EN VAUX, a small winegrowing village that lies 3Kms from Sancerre.The Domaine has been in the family for generations. Since 1993 Vincent GAUDRY has introduced organic and bio-dynamic methods in successive stages.The estate is controlled and certified by ECOCERT for Organic Agriculture and under the DEMETER brand for Bio-dynamic Agriculture.The Sancerre produced by Vincent Gaudry are among the finest and most elegant in the appellation. This 1er cru Langenberg 2023 from domaine Marcel Deiss is a superb success. Nose of lemon, grapefruit and white flowers (lily of the valley, elderberry), light mineral touches spice up the bouquet, the palate is airy and subtle, like an aromatic cloud, leaving on the finish a sensation of salinity so characteristic of the granite terroirs of St Hippolyte. The wine is fuller and more complex than a simple Riesling St Hippolyte; the material is more subtle and bounces back with little acidic, tonic twitches.

The cuvée Tournebride from domaine Vincent Gaudry is a magnificent introduction: the nose of this vin bio develops slightly smoky, lemony notes. The palate is slender, taut and very elegant. Very fine persistence on a salivating finish.

The cuvée Mélodie de vieilles vignes from domaine Vincent Gaudry has a very open nose with notes of pear and white fruit. The material is superb, energetic and mineral. Very good length.
