Domaine Pierre Morey is masterfully managed by Anne Morey. The total surface area of Domaine Pierre Morey is around eleven hectares, divided into different parcels in the communes of Monthélie, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet and of course mainly Meursault. All the vines at Domaine Pierre Morey were grown organically from 1992 to 1997, and have been biodynamically managed ever since.
The domaine is known for its whites, but also its reds, which are of great finesse.
In reds, Monthélie from Domaine Pierre Morey is a wine for laying down, blossoming over 10 years. It develops notes of blackcurrant and undergrowth over time.
The bourgogne village is always beautifully defined, with notes of small red fruits combined with lovely freshness.
The red meursault from Domaine Pierre Morey possesses a beautiful mache and lots of personality. To be discovered on an AOC known above all for its whites.
The Volnay
Pierre Morey's Volnay 1er cru les Santenots is a superb bottle for ageing: the wine is dense, rich, powerful, with notes of black fruits. Keep for at least 7 years.
