Antoine Sanzay owns 4 hectares on the Poyeux terroir, one of the most prestigious in the region. The wines are precisely matured, just right, with lovely fruit. The Antoine Sanzay vines are managed organically, certified since the 2014 vintage. For us, this is the region's future great winemaker, already a priority to have in the cellar, especially as prices remain measured in view of the quality of the wines. The nose is very open on opening, developing notes of black fruit. The palate is complex, with hints of fruit and spice, underpinned by supple, round, high-quality tannins. Le trou de l'Ermite du Château de Caraguilhes possesses a dense nose marked by beautiful fruit full of freshness. It develops on deep notes of blackberry and licorice, followed by rosemary and thyme.
