Antoine Sanzay owns 4 hectares on the Poyeux terroir, one of the most prestigious in the region. The wines are precisely matured, just right, with lovely fruit. The Antoine Sanzay vines are managed organically, certified since the 2014 vintage. For us, this is the region's future great winemaker, already a priority to have in the cellar, especially as prices remain measured in view of the quality of the wines. The nose is very open on opening, developing notes of black fruit. The palate is complex, with hints of fruit and spice, underpinned by supple, round, high-quality tannins. The Cuvée Camille du domaine Marcel Lapierre comes from an old parcel on the Côte du Py. This cuvée was born when Camille Lapierre (Marcel's daughter) returned to the domaine, but it's also a nod to her grandfather Camille (Marcel's father). A Morgon of great elegance and character.
