La Croix Gratiot - Languedoc AOP - Chant des Dolia Red 2021

This organic sweet Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh from Domaine Damiens has a smooth, lively mouthfeel. This wine seduces with a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness. Thanks to a late harvest and natural passerillage, it develops exceptional aromatic intensity, marked by notes of ripe fruit, citrus and exotic fruit.

Vendemia du domaine de Brin is a red Gaillac made predominantly from Duras grapes. This organic wine has a fruity, spicy nose. The palate is well structured, with present but elegant tannins. It develops on notes of black fruit, pepper and violets. Good value for money.

Les Cargadous du Clos de la Barthassade is a superb gourmet white. Made from Roussanne and Chenin, it develops notes of vine peach and pear, all resting on discreet ageing. A fine mineral finish softens the wine.

This cuvée Brechallume du domaine de la Croix Gratiot boasts a beautiful, slightly golden Brilliant color. On the nose, this organic wine develops citric notes of pomelo, kumquat, candied ginger and citrus peel. Fresh and structured on the palate, with good length.

Le Chant des Dolia Rouge 2023 is one of the great vintages of Domaine La Croix Gratiot — "It holds its own against the best reds of the Languedoc; a cuvée you absolutely must discover."

Intense color with violet hues. Nose of ripe red and black fruits, black pepper, graphite, aromatic complexity. Elegant and rich on the palate, fresh attack, lovely minerality, silky tannins, long finish. Serve at 16–17°C.

Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Grenache, vinified separately with daily punching down for gentle extraction. Clay-limestone soil bathed by the marine trade winds of the Thau Lagoon, from the Mas de l'Olivier vineyard. Organic and biodynamic. Aged in demi-muids for the Syrah and Grenache, and in stoneware dolia for the Mourvèdre.

Aging potential: 5 to 8 years.
