Cuvée Sans soufre ajoutéGuide des meilleurs vins de France 2020 : 16/20The Château du Cèdre enjoyed a meteoric rise in the '9s to become the benchmark for Cahors wines, thanks to the uncompromising work of the Verhaeghe brothers. The 25-hectare estate is planted mainly with red grape varieties, including 8% Malbec, 1% Merlot and 1% Tannat. Château du Cèdre follows the principles of "lutte raisonnée" and has begun a conversion to organic farming: the soil is worked entirely mechanically, and the use of weedkillers is banned.
