Maison Blanche duchâteau Maison Blanche is the estate's grand vin, made exclusively with Cabernet and Merlot from old vines, mostly old varieties planted in historic terroirs. Cuvée Maison blanche is powerful and tannic when young. We recommend cellaring this great wine for over 10 years, before it reaches its full potential. Located in the south-west of the commune and the Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation, the château Maison Blanche vineyard extends over 32 hectares of vines with an average age of 45 years, half Merlot and half Cabernet, on clay-limestone and sandy-clay soils. The wines of château Maison Blanche have been organic since 2009. They are characterized by their power when young, and by their astonishing ageing potential. We recommend keeping them for 7 to 10 years, so that you can enjoy them at perfect maturity.
