Sweet and fragrant, the Cinsault from the Freesia rouge du Mas d'Espanet cuvée is a real treat. With great digestibility, it's the ideal red wine to accompany aperitif dinners, salads and or other buffets.The Mas d'Espanet is a twenty-hectare wine estate located in Saint-Mamet-du-Gard. Run by Agnès and Denys Armand, the estate uses biodynamic farming methods. As the terroir is fairly cool (close to a large 8-hectare wood), the wines of Mas d'Espanet possess excellent balance. As the prices of the Freesia cuvées, their entry-level wines, are very attractive, this is a profit. This is a very cool terroir, which explains why half the production is devoted to whites."
