The Macvin du domaine Berthet-Bondet is a real treat. It develops on notes of yellow fruit, dried fruit, all resting on a controlled sweetness. Superb!

The domaine's vineyards cover around 11 hectares, part of which is located in the prestigious Château-Chalon appellation, the historic cradle of vin jaune. The remainder is spread across the Côtes-du-Jura and Crémant du Jura appellations, offering a diversity of terroirs and grape varieties to compose a complete and harmonious range. The steep hillsides on which the vines grow, mostly facing south and west, are typical of the region. They are underlain by blue and grey marls, demanding but rich soils that force the vines to draw deeply on their nutrients.

CloseThis oxidative Savagnin from Domaine Berthet-Bondet is a magnificent Jura white. This organic wine follows fermentation in stainless steel tanks, then matures for 3 years in oak barrels (228 L) under yeast veil (oxidative maturation, barrels not toasted).
CloseLa cuvée La Source du Domaine Berthet-Bondet, in Côte du Jura blanc, is made from 30-year-old Chardonnay and Savagnin grapes. This magnificent wine boasts a light straw yellow color and aromas of white flowers (lime blossom, acacia), white fruit and citrus (yellow plums, citron). The palate boasts lovely freshness, and its minerality offers elegant vivacity.
CloseFleur de Voile from domaine Berthet-Bondet is a savagnin originally destined for the production of a Château-Chalon, which was interrupted in its ageing process to be bottled after nine months of ageing under veil (without topping up). This cuvée is therefore characterized by light oxidative notes that give a hint of the genesis of a yellow wine.
