Description

Grown from old vines on the Domaine Tissot, this Poulsard has a beautiful expression of the grape variety. A fine, light, slightly spicy and fruity wine, but also complex and endowed with good length. The Domaine Tissot boasts exceptional terroirs, such as Les Bruyères, La Mailloche, En Barberon, Curon. The domaine's aim is to maximize the expression of its terroirs: the 35 ha of vines are now cultivated using Biodynamic methods (Demeter certification) to let the soil live, to ensure that the grapes are free of chemicals, to enable fermentation using natural yeasts, and to reduce the amount of sulfur used in the cellar. The conversion to organic farming began in 1999 for the vineyard, which is now biodynamically farmed. The reds and oxidative wines have acquired an unforgettable finesse.
