Antonin et Louis du Mas de la Seranne has a complex nose with notes of leather, but also fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry) and spices (pepper, cinnamon). The palate is fleshy and elegant. The tannins of this great Languedoc organic wine are harmonious and supple, supported by a long, fresh, mentholated finish. Magnificent bottle

The domaine Elian Da Ros produces a great, dry, highly aromatic white from the Southwest. This organic wine develops on airy notes of white flowers and white fruits. The 2021 vintage is superb, the wine boasting superb length. Not to be missed.

The Blanc de Noirs cuvée from Champagne Charpentier has a nose that's at once concentrated, rich and airy. Immediately marked by vanilla and toast greediness, it evolves distinctly towards red fruits. The creamy bubbles contribute to the soft, lingering texture. This 1er cru Langenberg 2023 from domaine Marcel Deiss is a superb success. Nose of lemon, grapefruit and white flowers (lily of the valley, elderberry), light mineral touches spice up the bouquet, the palate is airy and subtle, like an aromatic cloud, leaving on the finish a sensation of salinity so characteristic of the granite terroirs of St Hippolyte. The wine is fuller and more complex than a simple Riesling St Hippolyte; the material is more subtle and bounces back with little acidic, tonic twitches.
