The range is remarkably homogeneous"The domaine Giachino was established in 1988 and produces great organic wines in Savoie. Working in organic agriculture since 26, Domaine Giachino prides itself on presenting organic Savoie wines of the highest quality. The whites are airy, with diabolically precise aromas. The wines are low in sulfur (very slightly at bottling). Prices have remained very reasonable. Giac Bulle is a superb Vin Mousseux de Savoie made from Jacquère grapes. Monfanira is a light, taut Jacquère, a pure, airy organic Savoie wine. Altesse is an elegant, fruity Roussette de Savoie. Mondeuse from the domaine Giachino is a superbly peppery organic wine. Fresh and spicy, it deserves a few years of cellaring to mellow out and show its full potential.

The Pinot Blanc du domaine Ginglinger is a complex blend of different parcels of pinot blanc and pinot auxerrois from various Eguisheim lieux-dits: Langrod, Bachtal, Klein Krumling, Lang Striebicher and Bodenacker. The golden auxerrois grapes give the wine a frank, pronounced fruitiness and fullness on the palate, while the pinot blanc adds freshness, liveliness and a hint of citrus. The bouquet of this pinot blanc is pure and spring-like, blending pear, lemon, fresh hazelnut, vanilla and white flowers. The balance on the palate is dry, articulated around suave, crisp flesh and invigorating freshness. A great charmer that goes well with a wide range of dishes.
