Description

The Clos Michet parcel cuvée from Domaine de la Taille aux Loupsis made exclusively from grapes harvested during a second pass through the vines, which Domaine de la Taille aux Loups has allowed to mature for longer. A Montlouis for laying down, with more body than the Cuvée Rémus. Domaine de la Taille aux Loups is located on the banks of the Loire and Cher rivers, on south-facing limestone slopes. The estate extends over 25 hectares of very old Chenin vines, enabling us to produce sparkling, dry, semi-dry, sweet and sometimes syrupy wines in Vouvray and Montlouis-sur-Loire, with perfect respect for the vintage. The Domaine de la Taille aux Loups has been in organic conversion since 2012. The estate is recognized as one of the very greats of the Loire, the Guide Bettane et Dessauve having awarded it the maximum rating of 5 stars. Chenin is at its best here, producing a fruity, mineral wine that gains in complexity with age. Clos de Mosny is an exceptional Montlouis with great cellaring potential. 2023 is characterized by a magnificent energy that will carry the wine for many years to come!
