With its deep garnet color, this wine offers a lovely, straightforward nose, open to aromas of bell pepper, vanilla, fine roasting and soft caramel. On the palate, it's well-balanced, straightforward, medium-bodied, fairly round and supple, with roasted notes that melt away, a true second-wine style, easy, smooth and pleasant.
