Mirabel estate's Chant du Sorbier is a great Pic-Saint-Loup. On this 2018 vintage, the nose is intense and rich, with notes of garrigue and spices. The palate is fleshy with silky tannins; a superb Pic-Saint-Loup all about balance!

The Cuvée Paul from domaine des Homs is a red-fruit-dominated Minervois that can be enjoyed decanted in its second year. You can also forget it in your cellar and enjoy it for a few years. Made from Syrah and a little Grenache, this organic wine develops notes of black fruit and spices, with good concentration and freshness. Great value for money!
