The Calcinaires du domaine Gauby has an intensely fruity nose dominated by black fruit aromas (blackberry, blueberry). The palate is very expressive, with notes of black fruit and sweet spices. Silky tannins. The wine has a very long finish.
The Domaine Gauby, located twenty kilometers northwest of Perpignan, extends over some 85 hectares, including 45 hectares of vines up to 12 years old.
