Métisse is a superb rosé from domaine Maxime Magnon. The nose is fruity; the palate is greedy, long and complex. Maxime Magnon is one of Corbières' most talented winemakers. He manages his 14 hectares of organic vineyards. Maxime produces well-balanced Corbières, with as little intervention as possible in the cellar, and always with respect for the fruit. Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2020, domaine 1 étoile : "Maxime Magnon was influenced by the Beaujolais school (cold maceration, minimal use of sulfur). He has cleverly retained the best of this approach to define a style that is perfectly in place today, still characterized by great digestibility, with remarkable finesse of texture and precision of flavor. This style remains unique in Corbières, even if the wines express the characteristics of the terroir with greater depth than in the past."
