Domaine de Pique-Basse is a superb estate in the Roaix appellation. Originally from Franche-Comté, Olivier Tropet trained as a nologist. In 1998, he took over his grandfather's estate and vineyards in the Rhône valley, at the foot of the Ventabren massif and east of the Rasteau terroir, an east/south-east-facing vineyard facing Mont Ventoux. La Bête à Bon dieu de la Maison Camille Cayran(Cave de Cairanne) possesses a limpid, brilliant ruby color with a violet sheen. the nose is very intense with spices as well as hints of garrigue. On the palate, a lovely suave, round attack, powerful and concentrated, with good body, volume, well-coated tannins, dense aromas of freshness and red fruit, cherry, blackcurrant. A lovely, supple organic wine.

Les Gourgoules du Château de Caraguilhes is a superb Corbière: powerful, spicy and refined, it's the ideal companion to grilled meats. On the palate, the attack of this organic wine is silky with notes of pepper, blackberry and black olive that underline the fleshy side of this wine. The tannins give the wine excellent hold, reinforcing its overall balance. On the palate, we find the freshness of our Caraguilhes terroir, of which this wine is a modern expression. An elegant, spirited wine. Good value for money.

Galets rouge du Château Cazebonne develops a fresh, floral expression, with peony and even citrus accents in counterpoint, with suave, almost licorice-like fruit. Absolutely delicious, atypical, this pure Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in jars, nonetheless manifests the finesse and distinction associated with great Graves wines.
