This is one of Château Yvonne's fine white cuvées, which has established the estate's credentials. In 2021, the wine has a beautiful richness on citrus and yellow peach notes. The woodiness will mellow after a few years of cellaring to give this great wine its full complexity.

The château Yvonne was created in 1996; it occupies a total area of 2.5 hectares spread over the communes of Parnay and Montsoreau. The château Yvonne is a dynamic estate that excels in the Saumur and Saumur-Champigny appellations, in both white and red. The organic management of the château Yvonne vineyard produces lively, rich and expressive organic wines. Controlled ageing provides the wine with excellent support. A sure value in the saumurois. The Grand Vin Rouge du Château Cazebonne is the estate's flagship cuvée, representing the most accomplished expression of its terroir. Produced from the best plots, the Grand Vin Rouge is mainly composed of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This organic wine develops intense aromas of ripe red fruit, such as cherry and plum, accompanied by subtle notes of vanilla and spices, the result of barrel ageing. The palate is both full-bodied and elegant, with silky tannins and a long finish.
