A lovely, long-lasting finish!Created in 1963, Domaine Combier covers 34 hectares not far from the Isère bridge.Laurent Combier is a passionate winegrower, terrien, who started organic in 1990 out of respect for the vines and vocation for the terroir that bears them. At the domaine Combier , no pesticides, manual work, organic care and, above all, immense attention to vinification: his talent is fully revealed in this stage where the transformation of the grape results in the success of his Crozes-Hermitage. This 1er cru Langenberg 2022 from Domaine Marcel Deiss is a superb success. Nose of lemon, grapefruit and white flowers (lily of the valley, elderberry), light mineral touches spice up the bouquet, the palate is airy and subtle, like an aromatic cloud, leaving on the finish a sensation of salinity so characteristic of St Hippolyte's granite terroirs. The wine is fuller and more complex than a simple Riesling St Hippolyte; the material is more subtle and bounces back with little acidic, tonic twitches.

In a very fine vintage, the cuvée domaine du Domaine Combier is another great success. The wine is powerful, racy, spicy, with notes of black fruit and pepper. Soft but voluminous on the palate. A great organic wine to accompany dishes in sauce or red meats, for example.

The Clos des Grives 2022 from Domaine Combier possesses superb balance. In this very attractive vintage, this long, complex and deep organic wine is one of the appellation's best representatives. It will require a few years to find balance and complexity. A vintage to be enjoyed over 7 to 10 years!
