An excellent vineyard located opposite the Chateau St George that gives its name to the appellation. Great value with consistent quality far exceeding many St Emilion wines. The 2020 vintage shows great promise but will benefit from keeping another couple of years. I look forward to trying the 2022 vintage as soon as it is released.
This Tan'nat cuvee from domaine Labranche-Laffont is a new cuvée from the estate. Sulfur-free and 100% tannat, this organic wine is digestible, gourmand and fruity, the opposite of many wines in the sector. A fine gourmet treat!

The cuvée les Estaillades from domaine de la Ferme Saint-Martin is a magnificent Ventoux: the powerful nose develops notes of red fruit, kirch and licorice. The palate is fresh, with licorice and menthol aromas, supported by perfectly integrated tannins. Great length!

The cuvée H du Clos de la Barthassade is a fruity wine dominated by Syrah. This fresh cuvée should be drunk over 5 years with red meats or barbecues. The nose develops notes of black fruit and smoke, typical of Syrah. On the palate, with silky tannins, this wine is delicious and fresh. Black fruits, spices and orange peel combine to create a superb bouquet. Fresh, precise finish. Great value for money!
